Located in the northeast of Brazil, Arraial d’Ajuda is separated from Porto Seguro by the Buranghem River, and attracts a massive amount of tourists every year. Arraial d’Ajuda has wide beaches, crystal-clear water, and an abundance of palm trees, all of which make it one of Brazil’s most popular destinations.

Arraial d’Ajuda is a small destination that is the location of splendid beaches and tropical colors. In total there is 11 miles of beach with dazzling hues.

Many of its beaches are protected by reefs which form natural pools in low tide, while others are desert-like. The most well-known ones are Taipe, Pitinga and Mucuge, a series of unforgettable landscapes with white sand and crystalline waters, visited by hundreds of tourists from all over the world.

Arraial d’Ajuda also has a historic church and two important streets, Broduei and Mucuge, which go right through the center of the city.
